Dominate Take Over of Black Media

Maybe about sixty years or so ago there was an abundance of black news papers , radio, and TV station. Since the emergence of new corporate outlets like MTV, Vh1, Viacom, and other major corporate players black media is now a dinosaur. When you control what a person reads and watches on TV then you control the person.

The banks Like JP Mogan Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America are the new leaders of corporate money lenders. Some time around the early 1920 and 30’s there was a plan to take over media in all sectors. Black Media was on the list to be dominated just like the white media has been dominated. Where is our Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and other social network media outlets? We as a black community will probably never get our own platform in social media. All major black owned media outlets now to be controlled by outside interest. Vibe Magazine, The Source, Jet, Ebony, and others magazines have been infiltrated by outside corporate interest. The black community is now feed by a machine of corporate interest who give you a steady diet of information that they control.

The next time you read a news paper from a black magazine or newspaper just know they may not be really black owned.

Black Business Ownership Is Dangerous

Black Business ownership is miniscule in the black community. Many new entrepreneurs black-woman-business-ownerwho want to support the black consumer are rising. The new entrepreneurs are calling their businesses black this, and black that, which could give other cultures the feeling of  racism, when trying to patronize your business, because you are only catering to a specific group of people. Now, I am not saying catering to one culture is bad, but it could lead to a lose of revenue for your business by scaring off other cultures. If you are not taking everyone’s dollars your bottom line will suffer.

Business owners of African decent are leaving money on the table by only focusing on black consumers dollars. In my humblest opinions, you can be a black owned business, and still cater to the black community while serving other cultures. If you are hollering Black Black Black as a means of supporting your people, you may be employing racism on yourself.

I think when people begin to look at how to serve the black community, they also have to look at what they can employ in their business that will allow others cultures to want to patronize their businesses. You can still help the economy of the African American community, and do business with other cultures.

Many black owned business owners will probably disagree with this, but I am open for dialogue.

most people think that folks  who started blogging  just blew up over night. My response is most people like Nicole Bitchie, had a following from another industry from her writing at a major urban publications like the Source Magazine. So, she didn’t just start blowing the Fuck up ! She was already blown up from another industry.

Many people who want to grow huge brands don’t understand that it takes time. Leverage is one key element to the Hidden Secrecy of Branding. In addition to Leverage, Guerrilla  Marketing plays a role in the process of  the Hidden Secrecy of Branding. Marketing is one of the biggest keys to building your business or personal brand. Marketing is everything when it comes to becoming successful. Finally, going viral or word of mouth marketing is what takes your brand over the top where you become a house hold name. Now, this is just a general topic, because its not in depth, but this an overview of how some folks go big in a short period of time.

Is Entrepreneurship only for White People

What is the first thing you think of when you hear the term entrepreneur ? What is the first thing you think of when you see these pictures below ?

After looking at this pictures what is the first thing that comes to mind. Yep, you guessed it they are all white and successful entrepreneurs. Does success in entrepreneurship only come to white men and women ?

This was the question that a brother posed at the Ted Talk  which made a lot of sense. Now, He also said, what if we could change the perception of entrepreneurship for blacks by giving them different images like the ones below. Many of our males don’t have a proper image of entrepreneurship except what we see white males doing. What if the playing field was leveled off, and blacks could see more entrepreneurs who looked like them in business.

Does Crazy Equals Success

I was looking at a video with P Daddy in it. The interviewer asked him “how did you get

Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy

your confidence in business in a city like New York ? Diddy replied “you have to be crazy in order to be this successful.” “You can’t believe in the reality that is presently in front of you.” “You also have to be willing to do the work that comes with being successful. ”

If you don’t see the world in an insane way your not ready for success in my personal opinion. You got to have the confidence to push through, when everyone is telling you your not ready to be successful or you will fail. Most people look at the successful, and think they had some lucky break, but truth be told they were just crazy enough to believe they could make it so they hung in there until things started to go there way.

When looking at the world you need to view it as upside down as possible in order to understand it right side up. Everyone who sees success doesn’t view it in normal terms. Lets take Steve Jobs for example, if he were to tell you he was going to create a phone that could talk, text, and  share info from a distant with other phones you would of thought he was crazy. But, today the I phone is a reality.

Just remember crazy can equaled to success if you know how to use it….

The Genealogy of Rich Entrepreneurs

Sean Rad forbes coverWhat is the genealogy of most successful Rich Tech Entrepreneurs ? As I sat and watched 20/20 last night, this guys shows up on the screen, never heard of him until last night. But, I just happen to see his face on the front cover of Forbes magazine when I was at the book store.

What caught my attention is the fact that this dude was building his company (a dating site), and just like magic he some how ends up dating Micheal Dells, the successful Billionaire of Dell computers daughter, wow !!! I keep telling you all you got to watch the systematic moves of these cats. The genealogy of most successful rich entrepreneur is connected to the one he knows. They are not just coming up by accident, or because they got a good thought in their head. Its the six degrees of separation, and some other factors like dude was putting in the work at end of the day.

In actuality, he along with others like Facebook’s, Marc Zuckerberg will cash out on Billions of dollars or close to it. The CEO of Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom sold his company for several billions of dollars. Where are the black CEO and Tech entrepreneurs who are selling their companies in Silcon for Billions ? They probably don’t exist. My point in all this, is if you are going to play the game, you got to understand that a lot of these dudes genealogy connects them to other cats who are in the Billionaires, and Mega millionaires circles. Many of the billionaires and mega millionaires have already been through the rights of passage, the money, and connections to invest to get them in front of the decision makers.

The Genealogy of most rich entrepreneurs, is just like the music business, it is based on the one who made it allowing the next one in his camp to get some shine. The young Successful tech heads, are part of the secret society of Billionaires and Mega Millionaires who keep the money in the family.

Stop sleeping somebody eating real good & it aint you

Is Warren Buffet Selling You Some Bologney

I keep  hearing the stories of how one can turn $40 in millions from Warren Buffet. I have

a real problem with this ideology, because their are so many factors involved that it leads one to think he can in and instant grow $40 dollars into millions in a short period of time.  In a recent article on Yahoo news   gives some clues to how the investment game works, but in reality its not that easy for the common man. Maybe in the next life that $40 dollars will turn into to several million. If you don’t have a long term patience and maybe to burn I think Warren could be misleading the masses in my humble opinion. What is your thoughts ?

The Millionaire FastLane

What’s going on family,

I just so happen to stumble upon a book called The Millionaire Fast Lane. The book talks tmfbook-trans1about how to really to get to the money in a shorter amount of time. Mj Demarco, the author, talks about how we ( the people) have been sold the slow lane to wealth by today’s American Gurus on personal finances and self development.

As I read this book, I realize that at the rate I am going, I will not become wealthy unless I become a producer instead of consumer. Many people spend more time buying than producing something that can be bought. The Millionaire Fast Lane has shifted my paradigm and start thinking about getting on a fast track to wealth.
